Mr. Masudur Rahman joined the Foreign Service of Bangladesh BCS (FS) on 22 February 1998.

 

Academic Background: He is a graduate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).

 

Training Background: He completed his training courses in 21st Foundation Training Course in the Bangladesh Public Administration Training Center (BPATC), Dhaka. He  undertook  Specialized Training on Foreign Affairs in Foreign Service Academy, Dhaka. He also completed a Professional Japanese Language Training Course with best grade from Japan Foundation Japanese Language  Training Centre, Kansai, Osaka.

 

Job Background: He has worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Assistant Secretary (Consular Affairs), Assistant Secretary (West Asia, Central Asia & Africa), Assistant Secretary (Protocol Visit) and Assistant Secretary (Budget, Mission Building & Equipment). He worked in the Bangladesh Embassy in Russian Federation as Third Secretary, Second Secretary and First Secretary, before taking his assignment in Bangladesh Embassy in Bahrain on 30 May 2004.

 

He is married to Dilmat Ara and blessed with daughter Nihon and son Mishaal.
