Bahrain, 18 July 2007: His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister received a written message from Dr. Fakhruddin Ahmed, Chief Adviser (Prime Minister of the interim Care Taker government) conveying sincere congratulations to His Highness the Prime Minister on receiving the United Nations Habitat Scroll Honour Award for outstanding achievement in the field of urban development and housing-reflecting the broad international recognition of the pioneering role of His Highness the Prime Minister in upgrading the standard of living of citizens.

The letter was handed over to His Highness the Prime Minister at the Prime Minister’s Court by His Excellency Mr. Mr. Muhammad Ruhul Amin, Ambassador of the Republic of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Bahrain. He also presented his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Prime Minister for the patronage and support he received throughout his tenure as Ambassador for his country in the Kingdom and the cooperation of all government ministries and agencies to carry out his mission.

His Highness the Prime Minister praised Ambassador on the good efforts made by him to the strengthening of the existing bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation. His Highness wished Ambassador Amin all success in his new assignment.
