Application Procedure for New Passport

 

 

1.  Submit filled-in application Form with signature at designated/indicated places.

2.  Submit four passport size photographs in matte (not glossy) photo paper.

3.  Fees:

a.  Pay the fees in cash only.

b.  Urgent Fee means delivery of passports/documents on the same day.

c.  Normal Fee means delivery of passports/documents on the third working day from the receipt of the application.

d.  Fees for new passports are as follow:

Urgent Fee:        BD 25.000 for Labour/Worker/Private Service as profession

                         BD 62.200 for Professional Category

Normal Fee:       BD 12.600 for Labour/Worker/Private Service as profession

                         BD 42.400 for Professional Category

 

4.   Apply for a new passport after the expiry of ten years of the existing passport.

5.   Apply for a new passport if the pages of the existing passport are exhausted. 

9.   Passport Application Forms can be filled in Bengali or English. But, Name, Father's/Husband's Name must be also

      written in English.

10. Application Forms are free of charge and photocopy of the application forms are also accepted.
