Bangladesh Ambassador involved 200 of his fellow countrymen in the cleaning campaign of Marina Beach

Mr. M. Ruhul Amin, Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Bahrain arranged beach cleaning campaign of three Bangladeshi organizations (Bangladesh Forum) with the co-operation of Bahraini authorities (Ministry of Municipalities and Agriculture and Ministry of Social Development) to clean up the east coast of the Marina club Beach.

The beach cleaning was participated by 100 members of Bangladesh Community coordinating association called Bangladesh Forum with the support of Embassy of Bangladesh, in conjunction with the World Workers Day, May Day.

The cleaning programme continued over two hours with broad participation by members of the community, officials from the concerned Bahraini Ministry and the Bangladesh Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This programme comes in the way of organizing the environmental protection by voluntary contribution from Bangladeshi community in maintaining the cleanliness of public places and coasts.
