today, 1 June 2007. The Eye
Camp is organized by the Ibn Al Nafees Hospital in Mahooz as a social welfare
programme.

36th
Independence and National Day |
 |
On 26 March, the
Bangladesh Embassy in Bahrain celebrated the
36th Independence and National Day of Bangladesh
with due solemnity and fervour. The programme
started with hoisting of the National Flag by
H.E. Mr. M. Ruhul Amin, Ambassador of Bangladesh
to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Embassy Officials and
Community Representatives were present at the
occasion. |

H.E. Mr. M. Ruhul Amin,
in his speech on the occasion of National Day, reiterated the
need to remain dedicated and united for the
national cause while ensuring efficiency and
transparency.

Beach
Cleaning Programme by Bangladesh Forum |

On the May Day in the
morning, the Bangladesh Forum (the coordinating body
of all Bangladeshi Societies in Bahrain) supported
by the Embassy of Bangladesh, observed the historic
day in an exceptional way by undertaking a beach
